Virginia Raye (Conn) Corradino

A genuine Angel on this Earth, Virginia Raye Conn Corradino was born to Harry Morgan Conn, Jr. and Gladys Everette Conn on December 28, 1947, in Ft. Bragg, NC and entered eternal life on January 10, 2021 at her home in Augusta, GA with the very two people who were closest to her, her daughter Rosie and her sister and best friend Rose by her side. Gini was a graduate of Butler High School class of 1965, and served her country proudly in the United States Air Force.

"Gini" was a beautiful and precious soul who loved unconditionally and loved with every part of her being and when around her she made your life better. She never met a stranger, only friends she had yet to encounter. Her smile was infectious and was like warm sunshine that radiated the beautiful light she shared with the world. You would have never known the hurdles Gini endured while on this earth , her strength was compelling and her perseverance extraordinary. The power of moments shared with her will forever resonate, elevate, and inspire us all. Family was everything to Gini and she is incredibly loved and will live within us forever.

A loving daughter, mother, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, neighbor, and friend she was, is, and always will be. Gini is preceded by her parents Harry Morgan Conn Jr. and Gladys Everette Conn, and her Husband Vito "Dino" Joseph Corradino Jr. She is survived by her daughter Veronica Rose Braun (Aaron) New Orleans, LA, her son, Vito Joseph Corradino,III of Dallas, GA, her sister and best friend Rose Conn Hollingsworth (Michael) of Blackville, SC , and her nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom all loved her so very much. One day we shall all reunite.

The family will be accepting friends and family Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907 with the funeral service at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904. Pall Bearers: Vito Corradino, Mickey Bass, Aaron Braun, Thomas Conn, David Summers, and Travis Talbot. Please be covid conscious and lets all wear our masks and lovingly keep our distances.

Gini loved animals just as much as her family. She would stop to pet any and all animals that crossed her path. She is survived by her constant companion Bella, grandpuppy Angus and preceded by her beloved cocker spaniel rescue, Amy.
