Tim O'Dell

   Timothy (Tim) John O'Dell, Jr. of Grovetown, GA, born in Dalton, GA passed away at the age of 39 on August 19, 2021. He was TJ to some, and to others he was Tim. He had many roles in his short life as a loving husband, father, friend, brother, son, uncle, employer, and loyal veteran. 
      
Tim served his country in the Army for six years (00-06), receiving a bronze star, and then transitioning to the Department of Defense civil service for 15 years. He was also the successful business owner of Veterans Heating and Air, and a pillar of the community.
      
He had a passion for bringing joy to everyone he encountered, and he loved to be surrounded by family and friends he called family.
      
He is preceded in death by his grandparents John and Ruby Carnes; Johnny and Earlene O'Dell. Stepfather, James Harris, Uncle, Terry Carnes, and brother in law, Juan Fernandez.
    
 His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife Kayla, his children Chaise and Breanna, mother Annette Carnes; father Timothy O'Dell, Sr. Siblings: Amanda(Ruby) Garcia, Jody Harris, Joni Harris, and Bridgette Allen; Nephews Caleb Delgadillo and CJ Delgadillo, and nieces Timberly Fernandez and Miranda Fernandez.
      
Tim had a heart that was larger than life. He touched everyone he met by sharing his love for Jesus and all He had done for him. He loved big and he gave even bigger.

Visitation: 4:30pm - 5:30 pm
Funeral Service: 6:00 pm
Both will be held at The Sanctuary in Evans, GA on Monday August 23, 2021 with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating.

Burial will be Thursday, August 26th at Ellis Family Cemetery, 241 Mountain View Spur, in Chatsworth, GA with Military Honors accorded. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in Charge of Arrangements.
