Stephen Stastny

Stephen Stastny, 78, of Hephzibah, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022, ending his battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. 

Stephen was born on January 26, 1944, in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He was the fifth of seven children of John and Helen Stastny. He enjoyed a 27-year career serving his country and after retirement started a second career working as an instructor for General Dynamics training the soldiers.  He is survived by his loving wife, Siriluck (Phojanasupan) Stastny.  Stephen and Siriluck met while she was working for Thai Airways and he was traveling from site to site, while he was stationed in Bangkok, Thailand.  They shared 56 years of an undying love only to be separated when he left this world. 

He is also survived by his daughters, Katherina Stastny-Olson (Kenneth) and Stephanie Morehouse (Scott); and three grandchildren, Thantawan McIntosh (Tyler), Stephen Stastny-Olson, and Isabel P. Morehouse. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Stastny.
