In 1945 She was burned severely at the age of Three and spent more than a year in the hospital in Augusta. Multiple plastic surgeries throughout her life (15)

She loved her Church and first attended services in 1968 after moving to McBean and spent many years as a faithful member

She graduated from Sparta High School in 1961, Attended and graduated from Bolands Business College in Augusta,
during this time, she met John after she whistled at him on Broad Street and they married quickly

In 1990 she was diagnosed with Scleroderma and only given Ten years to live. She was instrumental and had direct responsibilities
In creating a Scleroderma foundation in Augusta where she arranged many fundraisers

Always helping and had blunt honesty in her opinions, but would also offer a kind ear afterwards

She loved spending time with her family and always asked for an "Amazing Roll(Sushi)" when asked what she wanted to eat.

Those that knew her understood her passion, Love and health issues she had and her love for the Georgia Bulldogs. Always a fighter, She will be dearly missed
and we will try to follow her example of "Things could be worse"
