Robert Craig Hall Obituary

Robert Craig Hall, 58, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Craig is preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Layne Brantley; and his stepfather, James Larry Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife, Lolita Hall; daughter, Brooke Stringfellow; son, Brandon Stringfellow; grandchildren, Hayven Stringfellow, Landen Hutto, and Christian Taylor; mother, Linda Taylor; father, Thurston Hall; stepmother, Sheila Hall; sisters, Tina McDaniel and Jennifer Hall; brothers, Robbie Hall (Joanne), Randy Hall, Mike Hall (Tina), Derek Hall, Jamie Taylor, Thurston Blaine Hall, and Brice Hall; and many extended family and friends.

Craig was born and raised here in Augusta, Georgia. He went to Evans High and worked for The Groundsman for many years. After leaving, he became employed by Jerry Ashmore as Caretaker of his properties including "Bennock Mill ", which was a major priority in his life. Craig was a perfectionist in every aspect of his life and took pride in everything he did, especially his work. He was sick for a great part of his life, having two kidney transplants, two strokes, a heart attack, and several other health issues. He was the strongest  person I've ever met and he never let his health get in the way of what he wanted to accomplish.

Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and trips to the beach. One of Craig's most favorite things to do was to "cook"! He loved nothing better than to have large family gatherings on holidays or birthdays so he could show off his cooking skills. I would say his two most favorite things to do went together, cooking and work, because everything he did seemed to require work, whether it was setting up the campground just perfect or making a flower bed at an entrance way look beautiful. He was the man for the job and he LOVED every minute of it! Craig was the meaning of "Living Life to it's Fullest!"

He had two grandsons, Landen and Christian, who not only called him Papa, but sometimes Daddy. He built his world around them and loved them as his own. Craig never gave up and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him you'll understand when I say that the world has suffered a tremendous loss and Craig will be missed more than any words can express!! #ILOVEYOUMORE

He will be missed by all who knew him.
