Ray Henry Hardin, 73 entered into rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Hardin. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hardin; daughter, Rachel Hardin; grandson, Taylor Hardin; granddaughter, Devin Butler; brother, Alan Hardin; and sister, Margaret Hardin Williams. He also leaves behind many family and friends he loved.

Ray graduated from Butler High School and after graduation joined the Marine Corps Reserves. While serving in the Marine Corps, he earned a Rifle Marksman Medal. After his discharge from the Marine Corps, he joined the Richmond County Police Department where he again served his country. He later retired after 30 years of service. Ray was an avid bowler winning several matches and collecting many trophies. He loved football, hunting, fishing, car races, and driving his prized vet. He loved his family, fishing buddies, and his brothers that served with him in the Marine Corps and Richmond County Police Department.
