Nell Agee Obituary

Nell Ward Agee, 83, of Augusta, GA passed away peacefully on September 10, 2020 with her children at her side. She was born on April 29, 1937 in Whiteville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Carl H Ward and Jewell Ross Ward. She was preceded in death by her sister, Esther Smith. Nell graduated from Nakina High School in 1955, and received a BS degree in English from East Carolina College in 1959. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in English Education from Western Kentucky University in 1968. She was a middle school teacher.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Saye and son-in-law Richard of Ridge Spring, SC, son Bill Agee of Aiken, SC, grandson Ryan Saye and his wife Jennifer of LaGrange, GA, sister Marian Smith of Greenville, NC, brother and sister-in-law Carl Hugh and Anne Ward of Nakina, NC in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
