Nancy Baldwin Lamp, 76, of Augusta, GA, went home on February 5, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard A. Finch and Anna Louise Harrington; two brothers, Phil and Gary; and two sisters, Janice Weishaupt and Greta Sanderson. She is survived by her husband, Roger Lamp of Augusta, GA, four children, Robert (Jennifer) Spears of Perry, GA, Cheri (Wesley) Rogers of Hephzibah, GA, John (Denise) Baldwin of Greenville, SC, and Renee (Wade) Tate of Evans, GA; one sister, Elizabeth (Peter) Hickman of Hurst, TX, sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two beloved cats, Goldie and Blackie.
Born in Syracuse, NY, she has been a member of the Augusta community since 1984. She worked in the restaurant industry for several years. She sold insurance for American General before retiring in 1995. She became the owner of Masters Restaurant in 1996. She never met a stranger and was the brightest smile in the room! Always greeted you with her sweet southern hospitality and you would never leave without full belly and a smile on your face! She enjoyed family, traveling, bingo, and going to casinos. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew her. She has left behind many special friends and family that love her dearly.
A visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00noon on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd, Martinez GA 30907, with a Celebration of Life funeral service following at 12:00noon in the Chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
