Mitchell Aaron Parrish

Mitchell Aaron Parrish, age 36, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at his residence in Carnesville, GA. He was born May 4, 1987, in Augusta Georgia, the son of Frank Parrish Jr. and Sheree Kay Bates. Mitchell was raised in Harlem, GA, but later moved to Carnesville, where he was employed at Kubota as a Line-X Technician.  Among his many passions, Mitchell shared a special bond with his father, Frank Parrish Jr., over their mutual love of hunting for diecast cars. Mitchell was also an avid outdoorsman, whether it was hunting or enjoying a round of golf on his day off. 

Recently, Mitchell achieved a significant milestone in his life by purchasing his first home with the love of his life, Jessica Tellez Hernandez. It was a symbol of their hopes, dreams, and the life they planned to build together. Mitchell was overflowing with pride and excitement as he eagerly prepared to welcome family and friends into this new chapter of his life.  

His sense of humor and fun-loving spirit will be missed by those who knew him. During this time of grief, Mitchell’s mother would like to share Mitchell’s favorite scripture, Isaiah 40:31 (AMP): “But those who wait for the LORD, will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings like eagles; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired”  

Mitchell is preceded in death by his grandmother, Georgia Eliza Parrish; and grandfathers, Franklin Parrish Sr. and Alvin Bates. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Jessica Tellez Hernandez; daughter, Madison Edwards; sisters, Rachel Parrish Munger (Dale) and Laura Parrish Brady (Rick); nieces, Avery Brady, Presley Brady, and Marley Parrish Munger; grandmother, Judith Rocha; aunts, Cheryl Ann Parrish, Kathryn Parrish, Karrie Rocha, and Stacey Rocha; uncle, Rick Rocha; faithful dog companions, Destiny and Wally; and many other family members and friends. 

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907.

In lieu of flowers, his sisters request that you watch Hulk Hogan’s movie, Thunder in Paradise.

Mitchell Aaron Parrish, de 36 años, falleció el lunes 13 de noviembre de 2023 en su residencia de Carnesville, GA. Nació el 4 de mayo de 1987 en Augusta Georgia, hijo de Frank Parrish Jr. y Sheree Kay Bates. Mitchell se crió en Harlem, GA, pero luego se mudó a Carnesville, donde trabajó en Kubota como técnico de Line-X. Entre sus muchas pasiones, Mitchell compartía un vínculo especial con su padre, Frank Parrish Jr., por su mutuo amor por la búsqueda de coches diecast. Mitchell también era un ávido amante de la naturaleza, ya fuera cazando o disfrutando de una partida de golf en su día libre.

Recientemente, Mitchell logró un hito importante en su vida al comprar su primera casa con el amor de su vida, Jessica Téllez Hernández. Era un símbolo de sus sueños, esperanzas y la vida que planeaban construir juntos. Mitchell estaba rebosante de orgullo y emoción mientras se preparaba con entusiasmo para darle la bienvenida a familiares y amigos a este nuevo capítulo de su vida.

Quienes lo conocieron extrañarán su sentido del humor y su espíritu divertido. Durante este tiempo de dolor, a la madre de Mitchell le gustaría compartir el pasaje bíblico favorito de Mitchell, Isaías 40:31 (AMP): “Pero los que confían en el Señor renovarán sus fuerzas y renovarán su poder; levantarán el vuelo como las águilas; correrán y no se fatigarán , caminarán y no se cansarán”

A Mitchell le precedieron en la muerte su abuela, Georgia Eliza Parrish; Abuelos, Franklin Parrish Sr. y Alvin Bates.

Además de sus padres, le sobreviven su prometida, Jessica Téllez Hernández; hija, Madison Edwards; hermanas, Rachel Parrish Munger (Dale) y Laura Parrish Brady (Rick); sobrinas, Avery Brady, Presley Brady y Marley Parrish Munger; abuela, Judith Rocha; tías, Cheryl Ann Parrish, Kathryn Parrish, Karrie Rocha y Stacey Rocha; tío, Rick Rocha; fieles compañeros caninos, Destiny y Wally y muchos otros familiares y amigos.

La familia recibirá amigos el jueves 29 de noviembre de 2023, de 5:00 a 7:00 p. m. en Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd, Martinez, GA 30907.

En lugar de flores, sus hermanas les piden que vean la película de Hulk Hogan, Thunder in Paradise.
