Mary Bodolosky Obituary

Mary Francis Bodolosky was born on April 9, 1939 to John and Mary Byaesko. She graduated from Hamilton High School West in Hamilton Township, New Jersey, where she met her husband Alexander Bodolosky.  The first time he saw her, he told his friends he was going to marry her. They were married in June of 1957.

She loved music, especially Elvis Presley, roller skating, and dancing. She also had a love for baseball, helping her husband build, along with his brother and others, the Hamilton Township Recreation Baseball Association in Hamilton, New Jersey. She could score a complete game with all the proper codes.  She loved the Atlanta Braves and could quote player statistics.

Mary also loved our country, its founding principles, and our great constitution.  She could be considered an all-out patriot.

But her greatest love was for God and His Word.  She was a workman of God’s Word for over 46 years.  Along with her husband they coordinated fellowships, city-wide branches, and served on various State-wide committees.  For 5 years, they worked as staff in the Bookstore at The Way International Headquarters.  They served God in Trenton, New Jersey; Grand Bay, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; New Knoxville, Ohio, and finally in the Greenville, South Carolina area.  Mary loved to teach formally and informally.  Her last formal teaching was on September 8, 2021 on the topic, “The Benefits of Operating the Power of God.”

Mary is survived by her sisters Joan Graf and Dorothy Kincaid, both of Eaglewood, Florida; her cousin Fran Lake of DeLand, Florida; her children Scott (Kim) of Evans, Georgia, Holly Kennedy (Dave) of Topeka, Kansas, John (Cami) of Cape Coral, Florida and James (Jennifer) of Eagle River, Alaska.  She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She entered into rest October 30, 2021 and is awaiting the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A recognition service will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021, 12:00 noon at The Living History Park in North Augusta, South Carolina (299 W Spring Grove Ave, North Augusta, SC 29841).  Refreshments will be served immediately following.  This location cannot receive deliveries.
