Kent Allen Myers, Sr., unexpectedly entered into rest October 22, 2021 at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1961 in St. Joseph, MO, the son of Doris June Berry.
Kent married Blenda Compton November 16, 1979, and celebrated 41 years of marriage. He served and retired from the U.S. Army then later retired as a Richmond County Deputy. He liked to fish, hunt, and was a gun enthusiast. He was also a dedicated Georgia Bulldog fan.
He was predeceased in death by his two sisters, Shelly A. Brock and Stephanie A. Gabbert. Surviving in addition to his wife, Blenda Myers is his son, Kent Myers Jr. of Grovetown; grandson, Trent, daughter, Tiffany Walden and her husband, Travis of Harlem; grandson, Nolan, Mother, Doris June Berry, two brothers, Mark Myers, Jeff Myers, One sister, Judy Green (husband Kenny); along with many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 30, 2021 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd., Martinez, GA 30907 with closed casket viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
