Obituary

Kenneth "Kenny" Wimburn Ivey, 62, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, after an extended illness.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Ivey Sr.; mother, Jacqueline Ivey; and sister, Charlynn Nickles. Survivors include his fiancé, Deborah Brooks of Harlem; his daughter, Teri Epps of Florida; his son, Kevin Brooks of Harlem; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Ed Ivey of Gainesville; and two sisters, Cindy Phillips and Darlynn Bradley, both of Martinez.

Kenny was a native of Augusta, having also lived for several years in Athens, Ga. He managed Ivey’s Trailer Park and Ivey’s Flea Market in Augusta.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm  on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 24, 2023, in the family plot at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904.
