Kathy Yvonne (Pantoja) Tabor

Kathy Yvonne Tabor, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2022. She was born in Augusta, Ga, and is best known for her years in the optical profession where she worked at Dr. John Stephens’ office, as well as Dr. Wesley Broome’s office, and Real Estate around the CSRA before retiring from Barry Tabor Paving Co. She frequently accomplished being awarded membership in the Million Dollar Club with Re/Max, along with other recognition from other companies. Some of her greatest joys included metal detecting, gardening, fishing, her pets, flea markets, the mountains, and the beach. Some of the best memories of her will be remembered from the days spent at the lake, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. Her zest for life will be greatly missed.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Pantoja and Boyce Howard Pantoja; her son, Christopher Anderson; and brothers, Manuel Pantoja, Michael Pantoja, and Jonathan Pantoja. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Barry Tabor Sr.; children, Barry Tabor Jr., and Tina(Micheal)Martin; sister, Lynda(Randy)Barrs; and seven grandchildren.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to go to the Salvation Army.
