John Raymond Sullivent of Harlem, 71, beloved husband of Mrs. Pamela Denise Sullivent, peacefully entered into rest on July 6, 2021. John was born January 16, 1950 in Oklahoma. He was a devoted husband, a loving dad, “Grump” to his grandchildren, a brother, and a friend. Mr. John had a sense of humor like no other and his sarcasm was unmatched. He was very intelligent but would often tell anybody that would listen he was a “jack of all trades but master of none.” John never met a stranger and though he didn’t laugh often he had a smirk that let you know he was amused. Mr. Sullivent could always be depended on when asked for any kind of help. He proudly served our country as a former United Stated Marine (Vietnam veteran) and he was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150 where he was a master plumber. His hobbies included “piddling” in his shop, gardening, bird watching, war documentaries, hunting, and fishing.
John and Pam had three children: Jason Sullivent, Kimberly Cottingham, and Andrew Cottingham; grandchildren: Jayke, Josh, Canden, Weston, and Magnolia. Mr. John is preceded in death by his parents James Ray and Ramona Sullivent of Augusta and his brother Howard of Evans whom is survived by Billie Jo Sullivent. He had many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brother Robert Sullivent and Carolyn of Grovetown.
