John Marvin Miller

Mr. John Marvin Miller, 55, beloved husband of Mrs. Dorothea Miller, entered into rest on July 1, 2021. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at The Building Worship Center, 2240 Bayvale Rd. Augusta GA 30909, at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Ray Reynolds officiating.

John was born in Beaumont, Texas, and was the son of the late Mike Miller and the late Rebecca Gilbert Rushing. He was a very hard worker. He loved going fishing and going to church. John loved to spend time with his family and was a loving husband, father, and “Pop Pop”. John also loved everyone he met and always had a smile on his face and could light up a room.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Harley Miller, a son Johnathon Miller, and a sister Barbara Casses.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his step mother Faye Miller, his son Charles Miller, his daughters, Katelyn Cummins, Jamie Miller, Danielle Cummins, Olivia Miller, Marin Miller, and Reese Miller, his brothers Todd (Stacie Dann) Miller, Timothy (Laura) Rushing, and Michael Miller, his sisters Rhonda J. Esparza, Patricia Bandl, and Jennifer Jordan, and his grandchildren Garrison Miller, Kensleigh Faircloth, and Joseph Cortazal.

In lieu of flowers the family gladly requests any food or donations. The family also requests that those attending the service not wear black and to dress casually as you usually would. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
