Jason Adam Whitaker, Sr., age 39, passed away on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Jason was born on June 8th, 1983, in Augusta, Georgia. He is survived by his parents, John and Tammye Pope of Harlem, Ga; his three children, Jason A. Whitaker, Jr (17), Faith Whitaker (14), and Hailey Whitaker (12); three sisters, Winter Lindemuth (Charles), Jennifer Sanders of Augusta, Ga, and Sarah Pope of Metter, Ga; two brothers, John Pope, Jr. of Jesup, Ga, and Johnathon Pope of Harlem, Ga; and several nieces and nephews.

He is a graduate of Hephzibah High, Class of 2002. He loved Georgia Saturdays and making people laugh. While battling Castlesman's Disease these past two years, he was loved, and cared for by his final partner Tiffany (TJ) Johnson and her loving family.
