Geraldine Smalley Reigle

Geraldine (Gerry) Smalley Reigle, 88, of Harlem, Georgia went home to the loving arms of her savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Gerry was born August 11, 1934, in Lincolnton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Joseph Smalley & Eldora Dill Smalley. She married George Leo Reigle in 1965 and built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, Christian, and friend. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren was her greatest joy. Mrs. Reigle also enjoyed gardening and birdwatching. Her love of desserts was unmatched. 

Geraldine was preceded in death by her adoring husband, George Leo Reigle; her eldest son, David G. Reigle; daughter, Melanie Reigle; and her brother Larry Smalley. 

Geraldine is survived by her sister, Lorena Cliett (Bobby); her loving children, Debbie Reigle Williams (Steve), Dwayne H. Reigle (Judi Shadden), and Kimberly Reigle Williams; and her dedicated grandchildren, Tony Reigle, Nicholas D. Reigle, Jeremy G. Reigle, Pamala L. Townsend, Seth J. King, Debra A. Savage, Teresa Green, Stephanie M. Reigle, Christopher D. Reigle, Josh H. Williams, Dr. Kymberly Carrier, and Jesse M. Williams. She was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9:30am - 11:30am on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Monday, November 14, 2022, in the Chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with burial immediately following at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904.
