George Anthony Buffkin

Our father, George Anthony Buffkin, peacefully passed away on February 12th, 2022, after a unexpected battle with cancer. George was 63.

George was born January 19th, 1959, in New Bern, North Carolina. Growing up, George had an incredibly daredevil childhood. After meeting his former spouse Hiedi, the pair went on to eventually marry and have 3 children.

George was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Tiffany, Matthew, and Lindsey and always did his best to support them.

George was also a passionate outdoorsman and wood worker and could often be found camping or building when he wasn’t at home.

This would go on to shape his life and would inspire him to be a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance is the foundation of his children. George was predeceased by granddaughter, Piper Marie. He leaves behind his 3 children, Tiffany Page, Matthew Buffkin, and Lindsey Jackson; and 4 grandchildren, Josie Cai, Luca Rossi, Koa Celeste, and Novalynn Marie.

We mourn the loss of our father and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty and joy he brought to this world. No services will be held at this time and the family requests no donations or flowers be sent.
