Gail Griner Obituary

A genuine Angel on this Earth, Teresa Gail Holton Griner was born to Eugene Talmadge Holton and Dorothy Ann Bailey Holton on April 10, 1959, in Augusta, Georgia and entered eternal life on January 24, 2021 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, GA. Gail was a graduate of Hephzibah High School Class of 1977, and attended Augusta Technical College. Gail was a beautiful and precious soul who loved unconditionally and loved with every part of her being and when around her she made your life better. She was a member of Harvest Point Fellowship Church. She loved the Backpack Ministry, doing mission work, proactive prayer walking, learning more about ministry and missions. She loved to sing worship and praise music and traditional hymns. Gail was the sweetest, kindest, caring, loving and compassionate person you could meet. She never met a stranger, only friends she had yet to encounter. Her smile was infectious and was like warm sunshine that radiated the beautiful light she shared with the world. Her joy in life was serving as a Commissioned Missionary and served over two and a half decades at the Augusta Association of Baptist churches. You would have never known the physical problems that Gail endured while on this earth, her strength was compelling and her perseverance extraordinary. The power of moments shared with her will forever resonate, elevate, and inspire us all. Family was everything to Gail and she was incredibly loved by her family and her loving spirit will live within us forever. A loving daughter, mother, sister, wife, aunt, grandmother, neighbor, and friend she was, and always will be. Gail is preceded by her parents Eugene Talmadge Holton and Dorothy Ann Bailey Holton, and her maternal grand parents Alford David Bailey and Violet Lorie Etterle Bailey and paternal grand parents Charlie Lanier Holton and May Ethel Amerson Holton. Her Brother- in- law Henry June Caines, Jr (Hank). She is survived by her husband Steve Martin Griner , her son Theron Martin Griner (Teasha) Grovetown, GA, her sisters Debra Ann Holton Williams (John) Marietta, SC, Danier Lorie Holton Caines North Augusta, SC , a brother David Eugene Holton Augusta, GA and her niece Lauren Danier Caines North Augusta, SC, a nephew (Trey) Henry June Caines III ( Erin Holley) North Augusta, SC, and one grandson Theron Logan Griner Grovetown, GA whom all loved her so very much.
