Mr. Fred John Lambert, 61, entered into rest at home Saturday September 4, 2021.
After graduating high school , Fred joined the Navy and proudly served for 8 years. He spent most of his career stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. It was there that he cultivated a lifelong friendship with Jonathan Simmons, his wife Cami (deceased) and family. After his service in the Navy, Fred became a career plumber. He enjoyed his working family and friends.
Fred was an avid reader, enjoyed working out at the gym, and cooking and grilling with family and friends. He was best known for his fabulous smoked beef jerkey.
Fred is survived by 2 brothers; Bernie Lambert (Marianna) & Pete Lambert (Diana) and 2 Sisters; Doris Koziatek (Vernon) & Susan Webber (Steven). He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; John Lambert Jr. from Pima, Arizona and Carol Lambert from Bremerhaven, Germany. He is also preceded in death by his niece, Erica Brigham Porter.
The Lambert Family is forever grateful for the team of providers and caregivers from the V.A. Medical Center and Augusta University Medical Center who assisted with Fred's care.
