Obituary
Mrs. Florence Marie Brim-Gay, 80, from Thomson, GA, found peace on Monday, April 25th, 2022, after battling a long illness. Her loving daughter, Mary E. Brim, from West Virginia, was by her side when she went home to the Lord.
Mrs. Gay was born in Michigan on November 16th, 1941, but she moved to Georgia to be raised by her Aunt Lena E. Kidd and her uncle after her parents passed. She loved to cook, read, crafts, and her pets, but most of all she loved her family. She was a resident of Thomas Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Thomson, Georgia, and she lived there from February 2018 until her passing. There she was loved by everyone, and the nurses called her "Best Friend". Mrs. Gay, beloved mother and friend, will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
