Emory William Parham, Jr., 75, of Martinez, Georgia, entered into rest September 25, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emory William Parham, Sr.; and mother, Mary Lexie Parham. Surviving family members include his wife, Lola Trudelle Parham; sons, Nathaniel Parham (Beth); Neal Parham (Tammy); Christopher Parham (Melissa); Brandon Bennett (Brittany) and Dakota Waas; grandchildren, Austin Parham, Ansley Parham, Andrew Maddox, Landon Parham, Abigail Parham, Amanda Parham, and Isabel Rose Bennett; sister, Marie Parham Register; and brothers, Douglas Parham (Judy); Roger Parham (Carol); Anthony Parham (Kathy); and Keith Parham (Vivian).
William was a maintenance foreman for Southern Company at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, GA. He retired in 2000. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, which often included fishing, camping and having long talks on the porch with each of his five sons. He was passionate about his Lord and his church, he loved his wife and children unfailingly, and often reached out to others when he sensed a need.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, September 29th, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Evans, 515 N Belair Road, Evans, GA 30809. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
