Edna Robinson West

Mrs. Edna Robinson West, 82, beloved wife of 54 years to Mr. William “Buddy” West, of Martinez, entered into rest on January 4, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday January 7, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Mr. Greg West officiating.

Mrs. West was born in Aiken, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Virginia Robinson. She worked as the Executive Director of The Augusta Training Shop for the Handicapped until her retirement in 2000 and after retirement helped operate several family owned businesses. She loved her work and was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings; Edwin “June” Robinson, Jr., Murphy Robinson, Ada Goodwin, and Kenneth “Yank” Robinson. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children; Greg West (Susan), Dalton, GA; Angela West Thompson, Grovetown, GA; Maurie West Cummings (Mike), Evans, GA and Bryan West (Teresa), Augusta, GA; Grandchildren; William Hawn, Trevor Thompson, Tilea West and Byron West. Siblings; Juanita Robinson, Graniteville, SC and Belton Robinson (Vickie), Graniteville, SC.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Augusta Training Shop 1704 Jenkins St. Augusta GA 30904.
