Edna Lucille (Burnett) Anderson

Edna Lucille Anderson, 79, entered into rest on Thursday, January 13th, 2022.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, James Anderson; mother, Lillie Belle Wynn; father, Milton E. Burnett Sr.; and brother, Milton E. Burnett Jr.. She is survived by her children, Lucy Carver (Francis), Anne Wilburn (Joe), Valerie Cheek (John), Jimmy Anderson (Penny), and Steve Anderson (April); 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Grady Burnett (Connie); and many friends and extended family.

A native of Augusta, she worked as a unit clerk at University Hospital for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and traveling with her husband to Cherokee. She cherished her time with her family, especially the family get-togethers at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, in the Chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with burial immediately following at West View Cemetery, 2051 Division St, Augusta, GA 30904. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Honoring her as pallbearers will be John Carver, Jimmy Anderson, Steve Anderson, Francis Carver, and John Cheek.
