David Dunbar Obituary
Mr. David Marion Dunbar, 75, entered into rest on, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Doctors Hospital.
He was the son of the late William (Billy) Randolph Dunbar Sr, and the late Carolyn Baker Dunbar, both of Hephzibah.
He is survived by his brother William (Randy) Randolph Dunbar II, his sister in law Christy Braddock Dunbar, and his nephew William (Billy) Randolph Dunbar III.
He was a graduate of Hephzibah High School, class of 1964, where he was the salutatorian of his senior class. He also went on to graduate from Georgia Southern University in 1967 where he studied French and Spanish.
David loved to play the piano and read all sorts of books to further his knowledge and most importantly to praise God. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis TN 38105. A celebration of life visitation will be held on Thursday October 28, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
