Corey Allen Shane Hill

Corey Allen Shane Hill (CASH) passed away at the age of 24 on September 20, 2021. Cash was born in Augusta, Ga on April 22, 1997. He was the son of Corey Shane Hill and Cindy Murphy Durrence.

Cash graduated from Burke County High School in 2015 where he loved being the assistant football coach. Cash also loved his Alabama football team and also his hometown baseball team Augusta Greenjackets and his wrestling,he also was an assistant coach with the Stephens County Indians high school football team from 2017 to 2019 when he relocated to Toccoa, Georgia with his granny in 2016.

Cash enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Cash was also an active member at Victory Baptist Church. Cash shared a close relationship with his granny Denise Newman Barnes. He was a true little and big brother to his sister and three nieces. One of Cash's greatest joys was getting the family together for family time.

Cash leaves to cherish his memories with his mother Cindy Murphy Durrence, his father Corey Hill, stepfather Steven Durrence, his grandmother Denise Newman Barnes, 4 sisters Kayla Nicole Smith, Amber Smith (Chris Kimsey), Courtney Nicole Gabrielle Hill (Miracle Gordon) from Augusta, GA, and Aubrey Michelle Johns (Zach Wakester), from Toccoa GA. Cash also leaves his memories with his girlfriend Melissa Crawford.

Cash's memory will also cherished by his 3 neices, Madison Smith, Ottavia Norfolk from Toccoa, GA, and Alyssa Smith from Augusta, GA.

He has 3 aunts and 1 uncle Betty Sutton (Steven), Cheryl Barnes Fletcher from Augusta GA, Karen Malin (Tim) form Martinez, GA, and Jimmy Murphy from Augusta, GA. Grandparents Bobby and Claudia Barnes, Ray and Margret Wilbanks all from Augusta, GA. He cherished 8 cousins, Cody Fletcher from Toccoa, GA, Johnathan Fletcher from Waynesboro, GA, Christian Fletcher from Augusta, Ga, Justin Ray from Rochester New York, Wendy Rickard from Augusta, GA, T.R Belanger from Keysville, GA, Bobby Belanger from Hephzibah, GA, and Victoria Belanger from Waynesboro, GA.

Memorial Services for Corey allen Shane Hill will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 620 W. Martintown Rd., North Augusta SC 29841, on October 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Matero officiating. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
