Obituary

Brian Dale Ratcliff, 34, of North Augusta, South Carolina entered into rest on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Augusta University Health Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Brian was born on December 6, 1983 to Mark Dale and Denise Boyd Ratcliff in Augusta, Georgia. Brian was a 2002 honors graduate of North Augusta High School; a fun-loving compassionate spirit with a beautiful sense of humor. He loved his family and friends and knew his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on a personal level. Brian loved baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves, as well as being a passionate South Carolina Gamecock fan. He loved to cook and dreamed of having his own restaurant someday. Brian's unique personality brought joy and laughter to people's lives on a daily basis. Brian worked at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, Georgia as a pipefitter apprentice and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters local union 150. Brian, you are so loved and will be deeply missed by many. Preceded in death are his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather, an aunt and an uncle. Brian is survived by his parents Mark and Denise Ratcliff of North Augusta, South Carolina; two sisters, Elisia Ann Boatright (Randy) of North Augusta, South Carolina and Sarah Michelle Bellamy (Josh) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Other survivors include his grandmother, Mary Ann Boyd; aunts Colleen Steffler, Charlene Spencer, Claudia Ratcliff, and Terrie Boyd (Ed); uncle Ed Boyd; one niece and many cousins. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road in Martinez, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel. Thomas L.
