Branden “Biggy” Griffin entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 4 th 2021 at 10:13 AM at University Hospital in Augusta Georgia at the age of 27.
Branden is survived by his parents, Derek and Maggie (Troglen) Griffin of Evans Georgia; his sisters Miranda and Kylie Griffin also of Evans; his paternal grandmother Dena Griffin of Augusta; maternal grandmother Patricia Troglen of Augusta; his fiancée Lexie Newsome of Hephzibah; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Wayne Griffin and maternal grandfather Ernie Troglen, both of Augusta.
Branden was born on October 14 th 1994 in Augusta Georgia to Maggie and Derek Griffin. He graduated from Augusta Technical College in 2013. After graduation Branden worked for Prime Inc. and recently took a position with Green Farms and was an accomplished Heavy Haul Dump truck operator. In April of this year “Biggy” got engaged to Lexi Newsome.
Biggy was an avid car and ATV enthusiast who loved looking at, talking about, and riding or driving all types of vehicles. He was very passionate about his friends and family and was Biggy in every way and sense of the word, typically being the “Biggy” life of the party. He was an active and dedicated member of the TMCC car club and often donated his time to his brothers and sisters of the club.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Monday November 8th at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA. The funeral is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Tuesday November 9th at Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melissa Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road in Grovetown Georgia. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Branden’s life.
