Willie Leopard Manning, Jr., 54, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Willie was a lifelong resident of Augusta Ga. He started working in the carpet retail business at the age of 13. He has owned several retail carpet stores in the area, and he was the current owner of Mr. Carpet Wholesellers in Augusta.

Mr. Manning will be remembered by so many, as he thought he was sent to be an angel for those less fortunate than himself. Willie was the life of the party. He took care of his family, friends, homeless, and even the stray cats.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Whitmore and Willie L Manning Sr.; and his loving sisters, Michelle Durden and Vicky Williams. Willie leaves behind his beloved wife of 23 years, Shannon (Puddin) Manning; five sons, Dalton Blayze Manning (Jordan), Christian Dakota Thornton (Randi), Trevor Manning, John Isenhour (Victoria), and Jason Manning (Emily); and his daughter, Kasey Brooks (Shawn); and 7 granchildren. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his best friends, Brain Brady and Tommy Stringfield.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Liberty United Methodist Church, 2040 Liberty Church Road, Hephzibah GA 30815, with Rev. David Bolin officiating.
