MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest on February 23, 2016, Mr. William Ray (Bubba) Walker of Martinez, Ga. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at the Thomas L. King Chapel with Chaplain Race Lariscy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to GRU Children's Center, 1120 15th St., Augusta, Ga. 30901. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Betty Jackson Walker. Survivors include grandmother, Myrtis White, Langley, SC; father, Joe Walker Sr., Martinez, Ga.; one son, William Ray, Martinez; two daughters, Olivia Joelle, Martinez, Ga., Kayden Marie, Martinez, Ga.; fianc e, Paige Williamson, Martinez, Ga.; one brother, Joe Walker Jr., Martinez, Ga.; three sisters, Janice Nicole Bussell, Langley, SC, Stephanie Weatherford, Augusta, Ga., Kimberly Lynn Dutton, North Augusta, SC; several nieces and nephews. "Bubba," as he was called by his family and friends, was a welder and a member of the local 709 Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his children.
