He leaves behind his wife, Heather Osborn; children, Aubree and Lliam Powell and their mother Vanessa of Hanford, California; a daughter, Lilly Korson from Michigan; sister, Sheila Bido (Robert); nieces and nephews, Azaria, Dwight, DaNiyah, Leonidas, Tyberius, and Blayke of Indianapolis, Indiana; half-sister, Amanda Allen (Ross); niece and nephew, Keira and Cayson of Cadillac, Michigan; mother, Karen Posnik (Rev. Ralph) of Fremont, Michigan; dad, Bill Osborn (Cheryl) of Lake Ann, Michigan; in-laws, Bert and Angie Gates of Stapleton, Georgia; stepsister-in-law, Brooke Gates; his friend, Tom; and multiple aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Burt and Nevonda Lankhorst of Fremont, Michigan, and Bill and Ardith Osborn of Muskegon, Michigan; and his brother-in-law, Tyler Gates.
After high school Bill moved to California with Vanessa and Aubree, joining the Army and serving in Germany for two years. After returning to the States and departing the Army, Bill remarried and settled in Grovetown, Georgia with his current wife, Heather.
Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping with Heather and friends. Bill coached soccer in Grovetown for three years. The kids loved him as a coach and wanted him to move up with them to the next level of play. He wanted to win but his passion was just showing the team good sportsmanship and having fun.
Bill had the biggest smile and a loving and giving heart. Bill loved entertaining, cooking on his Recteq grill, and constantly trying new recipes. Bill gave the best hugs, he held you so tight and wouldn't let go.
Bill loved visits from his mom and Ralph as he would entertain with his cooking skills and boating trying to catch the big fish, which he never did.
Bill will be placed in Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont, Michigan, next to his grandparents, and some ashes to be scattered per Bills request in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers please send a donation in Bill's honor to The American Legion Suicide Prevention Program "Be the One" ( www.legion.org/betheone ).
