William Eugene Norris, Jr. (Bubba)

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, on December 10, 1957, William passed away at home on November 11, 2024. A native of Augusta, GA, he attended Glenn Hills High School and graduated from Dekalb Community College in Atlanta. Throughout his life, he enjoyed a diverse career, working as a truck driver, welder, carpenter, electrician, and more. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. William was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Norris, Sr. and Helena Knaus Norris, as well as his youngest sister, Jennifer E. Norris. He is survived by four sisters and two brothers: Jeanette E. Norris, MD., Rosemary Norris, Shirley Orange (Joe), Jeffrey Norris, all of Augusta, GA; Johnnie "Michael" Norris of Crestview, FL; and Carol Norris Suber, RN of Daytona Beach, FL. He also leaves behind multiple nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
