LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Entered into rest on January 27, 2016, Mr. William David (Bill) Lessard, husband of Mrs. Lula (Lou) Harris Lessard of Lincolnton, Ga. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Ray Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 12 noon until time of service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Bill graduated from Academy of Richmond County in 1956. He was an airman in the Air Force from 1957 until 1961. Bill had his private pilot's license. He was a Life Member of The National Harley s Owners Group and a member of The Augusta Harley s Owner Group. He was an original member of Vic's Riders. Bill had several Harleys over the years and was a true Harley Rider. Bill was a volunteer fire fighter. He loved animals and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by a son, Greg Lessard; daughter, Ginger Dyches; and his parents, Paul and Betty Lessard and very special Princess Lucky. Survivors: wife, Lula (Lou) Lessard, Lincolnton, Ga.; 3 sons, Scott Lessard (Renee), Augusta, Ga., Bump Yonce, Edgefield, S.C., David Yonce, Black Mountain, N.C.; 2 daughters, Cindy Yonce, Evan, Ga., Patricia Dyches, Lincolnton, Ga.; 1 brother, Dr. Richard (Dick) Lessard (Julie), Prescott, Ariz., 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
