William Hancock passed away on July 26, 2025.

William A. (Bill) Hancock was born August 4, 1953 in Augusta, GA to Mary Youngblood Hancock and Charles A. Hancock, Sr.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sally, his son, William, two grandchildren, Sayer and Lily, sister, Frances Cranford, brother, Charles A. Hancock, Jr. (Pam), neices, nephews and cousins.

Bill worked in both the real estate market in Maggie Valley, North Carolina and Augusta and cooking at several restaurants including the Grove Park Inn in Asheville.  His last employment before retiring was at the Augusta National Golf Club.

Bill loved to meet with his coffee groups which in the past met at the old Shoney's on Wrightsboro Rd, The Village Deli and Waffle House.  Even after suffering a stroke ten years ago which caused him to lose his speech ability he met his friends and  communicated as best he could.  He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

At Bill's request there will be no services.
