William Daniel Bourbo (Billy), 57, of Evans, Georgia died April 25, 2017, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 24, 1959, in Augusta, Georgia, the Son of the late Robert E. Bourbo, Sr. and Dorothy A. Bourbo. Billy graduated from Berlin American High School in Berlin, Germany in 1977, and later attended Augusta College. On February 10, 1990 he was united in marriage to Susan Woodall in Augusta. In his spare time he enjoyed playing music, golfing, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family. Billy is survived by his wife Susan Bourbo of Evans; one beloved daughter, Jordan Bourbo of Evans; his mother Dorothy A. Bourbo of Leah, Georgia; two brothers, Robert (Angela) Bourbo of Temple, Georgia; David (Pamela) Bourbo of Atlanta Georgia; one sister, Holly (Brant) Bourbo of Edmond, Oklahoma; two nephews Neil and Jeffrey Bourbo both of Athens, Georgia; three nieces Nicole Jenkins of Evans, Georgia, Heather Price of Temple, Georgia, Rebecca Bourbo of Los Angles, California; and lifelong friend, Erwin Reid of Atlanta, Georgia. Billy would want to be remembered by family and friends as always being easy going and a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest and not to mourn his passing. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Robert E, Bourbo Sr. and a brother, Jeffrey S. Bourbo. The Thomas L. King Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
