Wallace Lee Doyle, Jr, a cherished member of the Augusta community, entered eternal rest at Wellstar Hospital, surrounded by family. Wallace was born on September 22,1963, in Swainsboro, GA.

From the beginning of his career, Wallace was driven by a heartfelt mission: to provide for his family and ensure they had the best life possible. After graduating Swainsboro Highschool, he began working alongside his father, Wallace Doyle, Sr., in roofing and construction, servicing the Swainsboro community as a young father. He then worked in East Brooklyn, New York roofing in the early 80's until 1989. He then relocated to Augusta, Ga, maintaining a successful roofing business. He also worked at Westlake Country Club for over 25 years where he met his wife, Tammy Doyle, and built a beautiful life together, eventually welcoming 2 children into their family. After resigning from Westlake Country Club, he continued his roofing business, as well as working for Southern Siding Company.

Beyond his career, he was a man of simple pleasures and passionate interests. He loved the thrill of watching football, especially cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks and Atlanta Falcons. Baseball and WWE wrestling also held a special place in his heart. He found immense joy in watching his children participate in baseball and cheerleading, and was incredibly proud of their achievements and loved celebrating their successes. He found joy in gathering with loved ones over seafood boils, savoring the sweetness of red velvet cake and sweet potato pie, and indulging in soul food. Bowling, trips to the beach, and the vibrant hues of blue, red, and purple brought him immense happiness.

Among those who mourn Wallace's passing are his beloved children: Wallace Doyle III, Alexius Doyle, Julia Steele, and Janae Baucom; his ex-wife Tammy Doyle; his siblings: Teresa Doyle-Reid, Jerry Doyle and Patrick Jones; his granddaughters: Jalasia Gordon, Jaliya Gordon and London Phillips; nephews: Charlie Reid III and Christian Reid; nieces: Tasha Stone, Crystal Carter, and Courtney Doyle; as well as many extended family members and dear friends. Wallace now rests peacefully, reunited with his mother Mary Mack and father Wallace Lee Doyle, Sr.

In remembrance of Wallace Lee Doyle, Jr., a Memorial Service will be held at Thomas L. King Memorial Home in Martinez, Georgia on May 9, 2025 at 1PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12 Noon, at the funeral home. The service will be a time to honor his memory and celebrate a life well-lived.
