Wade Mitchell Dill age 67, passed away April 25, 2025, at his residence in Thomson, Ga. Born May 31, 1957.Mitchell was the son of his late mother Merle McCully and his father Walter McCully.

Mitchell was a lifelong resident of the CSRA, where he attended Evans High School. Shortly after he began his journey into Law Enforcement with Sizemore Security, he worked for a brief period with the Columbia County Sherriff's Office, and later retiring June of 2015 after 34 years of service as Sergeant at Augusta State Medical Prison. Mitchell was a loving and caring Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and Great-Great Grandfather. He found joy and happiness being amongst his family and would always brag about his children, grandchildren, niece, nephews, brothers and sister. Mitchell enjoyed fishing and would never turn down an occasional BBQ or cookout. He had a fondness for high performance and fast vehicles, in which he had a few through the years. Don't know why because he drove like a 90-year-old grandma. He was an avid collector of coins, precious metals, and stamps.

Mitchell is preceded in death by his mother Merle McCully, grandsons SSGT Joshua S. Boulineau and Ian Sproat and his little buddy T-Rex. Those left to cherish his memories include his father Walter McCully, his children son Stacey Dill (Lynn), daughter Trish Dill Arrington, brother Micheal Luckey (Susan), sister Nancy Dill Snellings, brother Edward McCully (Donna), grandchildren Tyler Dill, Katelyn Trayers (Aaron), Gavin Arrington, Caleb Arrington, William Arrington, Tiffani Arrington, Evan Boulineau, Baylee Young (Dustin), Karsyn Boulineau, Bryttani Sproat, great grandchildren Brooklyn Trayers, Evan Norton, Jayce Johnson, Lilly Johnson, Great-Great Grandchildren Adylen Boulineau, Lily Boulineau, and Joshua L. Boulineau, Nephews Jeremy Youngblood (Stacey), Nick Snellings (Sarah), Bradley Snellings, Dylan McCully (Kayla), William Luckey (Angela), Dallas Luckey (Casey), niece Deanna Berry (Colin), and a wide circle of extended family, friends, and neighbors who will miss him dearly.

The Family would like to thank all for the kindness, thoughts, and prayers. The Family will hold an immediate family memorial for Mitchell later in the future.
