MARTINEZ, Ga.- Mrs. Virginia Dee Payne, wife of Mr. Robert Payne of Martinez, Ga., entered into rest at University Hospital on June 14, 2013. Mrs. Payne was the daughter of the late William Fousnought and Evelyn R. Fousnought. She retired as a clerk for the Motorola Co. She worked in the Gift Shop at Doctors Hospital. She was a volunteer for the Lydia Project. She was preceded in death by her sisters Barbara Pequeen and Mary Lou White. Survivors include her husband, Robert Payne; one son, Troy A. Payne; one daughter, Cynthia M. Payne Jung and husband, Gary; Veronica Payne, a chosen daughter; one brother Adelbert and his wife, Bonnie Fousnought; four grandchildren, Chris and Nick Payne and Jonah and Jacob Jung. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Thomas L. King Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewain French officiating.
