Virginia McElmurray Dickens, 53, entered into rest on April 22, 2022, at her residence in Pooler, Georgia. She was born on October 6, 1968, in Augusta, Georgia. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Donald L. Dickens Jr.; two children, Brittni (Chris) Schilling and Zane (Aimee) Dickens; her bulldog, Lexus; two grandchildren, Jack Schilling and Corbin Dickens; her parents, Nolan and Glennis McElmurray; two brothers, Dan (Leigh) McElmurray and Will (Karen) McElmurray; as well as many other family members and friends.

Virginia attended Silver Bluff High School and Aiken Technical College. She loved her family dearly, lounging in her pajamas, and road trips with her husband and Lexus. She enjoyed spending time with with her children, grandchildren, and listening to rock music. Virginia was a loving, caring soul and she will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 29, 2022, in the Chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
