Vera Dell Screws, 85, of Evans, Georgia, entered into rest on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at home.

Vera was born on December 3, 1936, to Woodie and Amanda Harvell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Screws Jr., and her parents. She is survived by her son, Roger Screws; daughter, Susan Austin; estranged son, Robert Screws; six grandchildren, April, Dalton, Amanda, Heather, Stephanie, and Kyle; and five great-grandchildren, Marissa, Jesse, Makayla, Jaxson, and Danni.

Vera was a loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, and a wonderful friend, who always made you feel loved and welcomed. She will be missed by all.

Graveside services will be held for close friends and family at 10:00am on Monday, July 25, 2022, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown GA 30813, with Chaplain Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
