Mrs. Vera Jane Fuller Brandenburg, age 75, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at home.

Vera was married to Benny C. "Ben" Brandenburg for over 50 years until his passing in 2020. She grew up in the Leah Community and was the middle daughter to the late Wyatt Chamblin Fuller and the late Elsie Duncan Fuller. She was the Manager of Patrician Hair Designs and a nail technician for many years prior to her retirement. Vera was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. Her greatest gift was her servant's heart that she so generously shared with those around her through her kind deeds. She absolutely loved doting on her grandsons, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and baking her legendary Red Velvet Cake.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Jeffery Brandenburg and his wife, Dr. Barbara Brandenburg, of Columbia, SC; two grandsons, Clayton Hunter Brandenburg, Johnson City, TN; and Cameron Parker Brandenburg, Camden, SC; siblings Bobbie Sue Smith (Sid), Florence, SC, Gene Fuller (Beverly), Appling GA, Lynn Gaskins, Martinez GA and Mary Miller, Oregon; sister-in-law Peggy R. Fuller, Lincolnton, GA and a special friend and adopted sister, Judy Barber, Evans, GA along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was especially thankful for her niece, Amanda Fuller Bell for taking such great care of her since Ben's passing.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Fuller Todd and brother, Charles Wyatt Fuller, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Damascus Baptist Church, 6375 Ridge Rd. Appling, GA 30802, with Rev. Keith Burrow officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
