Valerie Clem, 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 2nd, 2025. Born on August 8th, 1960, Valerie lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of many people along the way.

Before she graduated from Northern High School, in Baltimore,Md, she met the love of her life, John, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. They married in 1985, and lived in Baltimore and York, Pa., before settling in the Augusta, Ga. Area in 2012.

She spent 27 years in Physical Therapy as a PT Aide, and was proud of her contribution toward helping many live pain-free lives, at both Hamilton Physical Therapy in Baltimore, and King and Associates Physical Therapy in York. She was a favorite of those she worked with.

In her free time, Valerie had many interests. She was an avid You Tube fan, enjoying videos about farm and marine life. She also loved interacting with her 4 cats, and 2 birds. When time permitted, she especially enjoyed walking along the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, NJ, and Myrtle Beach, SC.

In addition to her loving husband, John, Valerie is survived by two siaters, Monica Schlissler (Cornes), and Marie Gray (Cornes). She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cornes, mother, Marguerite Anne Cornes (McDonald), and one brother, William Cornes

Valerie will be greatly missed by so many friends, family and loved ones.  May she rest in peace knowing how special she was to so many and how much her life impacted others.
