Tyler Lee Sherrod, 25, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Tyler was born in Savannah and was an insulator with Local Union #96. He was kindhearted and would do anything for anybody, putting others first in front of himself.
He loved racing and started with his grandfather at a young age. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing as well as hunting.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vicki Burnsed.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Lara and Billy Newsome; father and stepmother, Lee and Amy Sherrod; stepmother, Maggie Sherrod; fiance, Taylor Price; siblings, Tori and Lindy Johnson, Logan Sherrod, Brandon Collins, Gage Newsome, Riley Clifton, Wade Sikes and Austin Sikes; niece, Nora Sherrod; grandparents, Clem Burnsed Jr., Don and Barbara Sherrod, and Patsy Sherrod; and several cousins, aunts and uncles, including Jamie Lynn Swinson.
He was loved by many and will be missed deeply.
The visitation will be on Monday, April 9th, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
The funeral will be on Tuesday, April 10th, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, with burial to follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
