Tyasia "Ty" Nicole Tuten, 22, entered into rest on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Ty is preceded in death by her sister, Denise Tuten. She is survived by her parents, Billy and Patricia Tuten; special sister, Shaneesa Tuten; and many other brothers and sisters that loved her dearly.

Ty had a smile that would light up any room. She touched many lives with her cheerful attitude and contagious laugh. Despite her medical challenges, Ty accomplished much and touched all who came into contact with her in a special way. She recently graduated from ARC high school despite many illnesses and setbacks. She was a fighter!

One of Ty's favorite things was watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Wrestling with her sister and best friend, Shaneesa. She also adored being rocked by her Daddy. Her face lit up when he entered the room, and so did his. They had such a special bond. Ty loved getting kisses from her mama and hearing her sing her favorite songs.

Ty will be deeply missed but we will never forget her and the impact that she had on our lives.

A celebration of Tyasia's life will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, September 25, 2023, in the Daniel Chapel at Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, 507 Crawford Avenue, Augusta GA 30904, with Dexter Lambert officiating.
