Mrs. Twila Powell Eckert, 55, beloved wife of Jerry Eckert, entered into rest Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Eckert was born in Augusta, GA to the late Baxley and Douglas Eudora Powell. Mrs. Powell was a devoted and loving wife, sister, and aunt to all and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Thomas L. King Chapel with Pastor Dewain French officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Eckert is also survived by 2 brothers, Danny Powell (Barbara) of Edgefield, SC and Russell "Steve" Powell (Carolyn) of Oak Park, Ga; 2 sisters, Beverly Dianne Rickerson of Grovetown, GA and Sharon Shaffer (Glenn) of East Sparta, OH.
