Travis Coogler, 34, of Martinez, entered into rest on July 20, 2024.

Travis was a lifelong native of Augusta and an electrician for the IBEW Local 1579, joining in 2013. Travis enjoyed growing different houseplants, fishing, and traveling. Travis had a great appreciation for all different kinds of music, even having a speaker on him so he could listen while he was working. He liked grilling with his ribs being his specialty. He was an avid GA fan (GO DAWGS!!), and could be seen proudly flying his GA flag on his truck on game day. His family was of upmost importance to him and he enjoyed spending time having family gatherings or just being with his children. Travis will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Megan Coogler; mother, Bridgett Higginbotham (David); father, Malvin "Bruce" Coogler; children, Lanie Coogler, Bruce Coogler, and Brady Coogler; brothers, Raymond Coogler (Tabitha), and Bryan Coogler (Bethanie); his grandmother, Connie Coogler; and his best friend, Harry Waggerman (Chelsey).

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd., Augusta GA 30906. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 31, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home 124 Davis Rd., Martinez GA 30907. Pallbearers will be Harry Waggerman, Bryan Coogler, Raymond Coogler, David Ford, James Foshee, and Sean Ison.
