Tommy Joseph Carson III, 48, of Augusta, GA, passed away on February 11th, 2023. He was born in Orangeburg, SC on September 21st, 1974. Tommy was a beloved son of Jim (step-father) and Tammy Fisher of Grovetown, GA, and Tommy and Teresa (step-mother) Carson, of Rowesville, SC. Tommy graduated from Evans High School in Evans, GA and served in the United States Coast Guard immediately after graduating. Tommy most recently was employed at 84 Lumber in Augusta. He was a loving son, father, and grandfather and will truly be missed by those that knew and loved him. Tommy is survived by his three children, Brittany Nicole (Carson) Colley, Danielle Taylor (Carson) Crawford, and Logan Bradley Carson; and one sister, Shannon M. Davis. The family will receive friends for a celebration of life visitation from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
