Mr. Thomas Milton Winston, Jr. 68, entered into rest Sunday, September 3, 2017 with his family by his side. Mr. Winston was born in Panama City, FL, to the late Mary Walters Winston and the late Thomas L. Winston, Sr.
He had served in the U S Army during the Vietnam Conflict as a Tunnel Rat and earned the Purple Heart Award. He later retired as a disabled Veteran. After Mr. Winston retired from the Army he became a wrecker driver for Walker Ford. He also loved riding his Trike.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p. m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
Family members include 2 sons, Tony Winston of Mayflower, AR, and Ricky Winston of Augusta; 3 daughters, Tammy M. Wilhite (Toby) of Plano, TX, April Rimmer of Augusta, and Emily M. Winston of Crawfordville, FL; 3 brothers, Sammy Slay, Eddie "Butch" Winston and Jerry Winston; 1 sister, Darlene Jacobs; 16 grandchildren; additional family and friends are John and Angie Franklin, Carol Hooks, and Walter Muenzel.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the day of the service at the funeral home.
