Thomas L. Dixon Sr.answered the Lord's call to come home on Monday, August 21, 2017. He is survived by 4 children: Barbara Helmly (Mike), Vickey Strellner, Thomas L. Dixon Jr. (Tish) and Timothy Michael Dixon; 5 grandchildren: Michael Reed Dixon, Jake Strellner, Amanda Dixon, Sharon Evans and Brandi Dixon; his sister Evelyn Cornelius, brother Jimmy Dixon (Kay), sister-in-law Patricia Murray and many nieces and nephews, all whom he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise L. Dixon.He was retired from Georgia-Pacific and a Veteran of the Korean War. Laughter, the love of family and of fishing filled his life.
