Theresa Ann Cawley Wilkerson, 66, of Augusta, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Augusta, Georgia to Danny Cawley Sr. and Sylvia Crangle on January 13, 1959. She married the love of her life Donnie Ray Wilkerson Sr. on June 5th of 1976 in Augusta, Georgia. They were married for 49 years before Theresa passed away. They had two children, Margie Wilkerson Finch & Donnie Ray Wilkerson JR., whom they loved tremendously.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend. She loved people, animals, and plants. She was the most nurturing, generous, loving and caring person to all who knew her. Theresa had a servant's heart and always found a way to help others regardless of what she had. She took care of her husband, numerous family members, and opened her home to many in need throughout her life. She was an excellent cook and hosted many holiday feasts for friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers Richard "Ricky" & James "Jimmy" Cawley, stepmother Joan Cawley, Sister in-laws Joann Mullis and Bonnie Sue Waldoch.

She is survived by her two parents, Danny Cawley Sr. and Sylvia Crangle, her husband Donnie Ray Wilkerson Sr., her three sisters Carol McKitrick, Anne Norton and Cathy Cawley, and her brother Danny Cawley Jr. and her two children Margie Wilkerson Finch (Jason Finch) and Donnie Ray Wilkerson Jr. (Leah Wilkerson) and many nieces and nephews.

She had great pride for her grandchildren whom she also loved dearly including Brooklyn Hadley (Tyler Markley), Alexis Vigil (Adam Vigil), Victoria Hadley, Isaiah Wilkerson, Bailey Rose Devall (Christian Devall), Brandi Finch, Jason Finch Jr (McKenzie Clyborn) and Cody Johns. Her great - grandchildren, Jayden Vigil, Scarlet & Jason III Finch.

Family was everything to Theresa. She spent a significant amount of time with all members of her family. She is loved by all.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home.
